|Founded in 1994, Call2Recycle® -- North America's first and largest battery stewardship program -- is a
non-profit organization that collects and recycles batteries at little-to-no cost for municipalities, and no cost to businesses and
consumers. Since 1996, Call2Recycle has diverted over 38 million kilograms of batteries and cellphones
from the solid waste stream and established 34,000 collection sites throughout Canada and the U.S. It is
the first program of its kind to receive the Responsible Recycling Practices Standard (R2) certification.

|Product Service Offerings:|
|A turnkey solution for recycling all household batteries up to 5kg in weight, in compliance with all known local, national, and international legislation relating to Canada and the USA.
Adopting the Call2Recycle program enables battery product manufacturers to be automatically compliant with extended producer responsibility legislation in Canada and the USA. Adoption by retailers or other businesses is zero-cost and leads to increased in-store traffic, increased sales, and marketing content in relation to environmental or corporate social responsibility objectives. Adoption by municipalities augments the relationship between local government and its constituents, and leads by example as public sites such as libraries or community centres can become collection points for public recycling.
